Muutama sääntölista paradoxin foorumeilta antamaan inspiraatiota. Käytännössä näissä on kolme osaa; 1. Erinäisten exploittien kieltäminen, 2. Pelin tasoittaminen ja 3. Historiallisuuden tavoittelu.
1.1: No wars until '42 with the exception for historically accurate wars & the following Axis may attack Balkan & Greece nations after "Danzig or War".

1.2: No danzig or war before September 1st 1939. (focus MUST be prepped before)

1.2.1: Japan may declare war on the Allies (not Comintern) any time after the fall of the state of Paris or the state of London"; if it does, then the USA may join the war.

1.2.2: Japan may declare war on the Comintern when Operation Barbarossa starts; if it does, then the USA may join the war.

1.3: Allies may not declare ahistorical wars.

1.4: Countries are to join the war via being called to arms

1.5: Guarantees can only be used by the Allies on Poland

1.6: No ahistorical alliances; exception Spain may join the Axis if Gibraltar or State of London falls to the Axis. Otherwise they can join in 1942.

1.7: Switzerland to forever remain neutral

1.8: Axis/Comintern to only declare ahistorical wars '42 onwards, exception Axis may declare war on Sweden. Sweden may only be attacked after the fall of 3 entire states in Norway to the Axis.

1.9: Turkey to forever remain neutral


2.1: No Coups

2.2: No supporting parties


2.3: Countries must follow their historical ideology (democracy/fascist etc.) Should a country historically join a faction but start a different ideology then they may switch.


3.1: Max of 5 divs for volunteers and only in Spanish civil war (GER/ITA/USSR)

3.1.1: USSR/USA allowed to send 5 divs as volunteers (no armour) to China


3.2: Lend lease allowed with the following terms percentages allowed with a 20% cap; One off Lend lease allowed at 10% of stockpile or 200 units.

3.2.1: China & Spain are legitimate lend lease recipients

3.2.2: USA allowed to lend lease from March 1941. USSR can only receive lend lease from the start of Barbarossa

3.2.3: USA allowed to lend lease to China at the fall of Nanking State or Guangzhou State


4.1: USA may not join until, either Japan is at war with the Allies/USSR or until December 7th '41

4.2: USA can join instantly if Sealion is successful (GM discretion) or Moscow falls

4.3: Spain must endeavour to join the Axis. Once console bug is fixed may allow for an allied coop to move onto Republican Spain for the war.

4.4: Low countries (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) may not be offered alliances/invited to allies before Danzig or war

4.5: Germany must attack the SU June 22nd '41

4.6: British Raj is not permitted to send troops out of Asia, South East Asia and Pacific until Barbarossa


4.7: Italy's war with Ethiopia to will be finished before 1 pre-June '37

4.8: Until France has fallen only UK can base land troops or air to mainland Europe

4.9: Ahistorical nations can only join the war '42 onwards


5.1: All historical decisions and actions involving historical action to be kept to the historical basis unless stipulated in the rules. Thus, Vichy France must be created.

5.2: Scripted wars that conflict with this are to be avoided until historical date or '42 on


6.1: No trading unneeded resources in order to transfer civilian factories to allied nations (thereby circumventing lend-lease) or preventing the opposite faction to access those resources. Import only what you actually need

6.2: Land Air wings to be kept at a minimum of 100 planes Carriers based planes can have a minimum of 10

6.3: No forts above level 5 and no fort building for France

6.4: No destroying factories to prevent the enemy having them

6.5: Research bonus must be used properly on one tech only

6.6: No research to be performed on techs 2 full years or more ahead of time.



7.1: Germany must take MR pact before danzig or war

7.2: Great purge to be pre-'38 will be initiated before 1 January 1938.

7.3: Japan must go to war with China in July '37


7.4: Axis minors to join (or may join) the war, only after Danzig or War

7.5: France must take Vicky France events for surrender

7.6: Slovakia may be pupated or partitioned with Hungary

7.7: Germany must occupy Paris or be given it to trigger Vichy event chain


8.2: No switching in and out maintenance companies to train divisions for free (if you add them to a template during training, you have to keep them in for the rest of the game).

8.3: No using military access with neutral countries

8.5: Units must be trained with reinforcements turned on

Rules:

Wars
1.1 Germany-Poland war starts by Germany taking the Danzig or War focus. Germany cannot complete the Danzig or War focus before August 1939.
1.2 No wars before Germany-Poland war except Japan-China war
1.3 No ahistorical wars until 1942. Exception: Axis can attack Sweden and all Balkan states after Danzig. If there is no Spain player, Axis can attack Spain and Portugal after Danzig.
1.3.1 Japan or any other country on the Axis team joining an ongoing Axis war is not considered a violation of rule 1.3.
1.4 Germany and USSR cannot attack each other until June 1941.
1.5 Japan must declare war on China before August 1937. He must finish the War on China focus before declaring the war.
1.6 Japan may not join a war against allies or USSR before France capitulates.
1.7 USA cannot join the war until one of the following occurs:
* Date >= December 1941
* Moscow falls OR Smolensk and Stalingrad both fall
* An Axis division containing an armored battalion lands in mainland UK
* Japan is at war with allies or USSR
1.8 USA can join the allies before joining the war in order to watch the war but he cannot use the military access to preposition troops, planes or navy. Basically, he should play as if he is not in allies until he joins the war. He is only allowed to join to prevent player boredom.
1.9 If Spain is a player, he cannot join the war until the US does.
1.10 Switzerland will forever remain neutral. Ideology support, attacking etc. forbidden
1.11 Noone can guarantee except UK

Treaties/Events
2.1 France and UK cannot deny Rhineland or Czechoslovakia
2.2 Germany must take Molotov-Ribbentrop pact before Danzig or War. Both sides must honor the pact.
2.3 Romania must cede Bessarabia to the USSR when the event fires. Romania may not join the Axis before this happens.
2.4 USSR must accept the tank treaty if there is a human on France
2.5 USSR must end the Winter War historically

Lend Lease
3.1 You may LL at most 20% of your monthly production or 20% of your stockpile(each month) or 200 units. This restriction does not apply to master/puppet and convoys.

Volunteers
4.1 Until fall of France: Max volunteer combat width = 100. No armored battalions in volunteers.
4.2 After fall of France: Max volunteer combat width = 200. 2 width armored battalion per 10 combat width allowed.

Tech
5.1 You may not produce nuclear bombs before 1943.

Ideology
6.1 Allies must be democratic or neutral. If France is forced to become communist against his will due to RNG, that's ok but he is not allowed to take war economy or switch conscription law to higher than 2.5% before he is at war with Germany and he is not allowed to take partial mobilization when WT < 15.
6.2 Axis must be fascist.
6.3 Commintern must be communist.
6.4 You cannot hire a propaganda minister that does not agree with your faction's historical ideology.

Air
7.1 Bombing and kamikaze missions cannot be cancelled or relocated for the first 2 weeks.
7.2 Kamikaze missions can only be used on the following air zones: Sea of Japan, Coast of Japan, East China Sea

Navy
8.1 Navies cannot be set on do not engage while they are performing missions except convoy raiding. If you use the do not engage button to disengage from a battle, you cannot re-engage in that seazone with the same fleet for 2 weeks. You cannot set more than 40 ships on convoy raiding on a single seazone.

Other
9.1 France cannot build factories outside of mainland France.
9.2 France cannot choose the "Let us merge with Britain" option when the Defeat event fires after fall of Paris.
9.3 China must take decisions to unify China when Japan attacks. The decisions must be taken as soon as events fire. No event delaying.
9.4 Canada cannot take the Patriation focus
9.5 Australia cannot take the Never Another Gallipoli focus
9.6 Raj cannot take the Swaraj focus
9.7 South Africa cannot take the Abandon Westminster focus

Exploits/Abuse
- Any form of cheating like using console on hotjoin or ghost factories will get you perma-banned from this campaign.
- Don't look at other team's save between sessions.
- Abusing game mechanics in a way that is not intended will get you a warning and possibly in-game punishment(e.g. the GM deleting some of your factories/divisions) depending on the severity of the abuse. The GM will decide on what is and isn't an abuse. If you are unsure about something, ask the GM.
Some examples that are considered abuse:
- Deleting surrounded divisions
- Training divisions with everything except inf equip unchecked/using training templates
- XP farming against AI. You may not delay wars to farm xp and you may not use divisions that are less than 10 width against AI.
- Trading for resources you don't need to buff an ally or prevent the other team access to resources
- Coups or involuntary ideology support
- Switching paratrooper template to cavalry after parachuting them
- Deleting factories to prevent enemy from having them
- Revoking guarantees to increase WT
- Giving and taking back expeditionary forces to make use of planning bonus of an ally that has grand battleplan and/or national planning bonus.

Some examples that aren't considered abuse:
- Using very low width divisions to delay or farm xp against a human enemy.
- Min/maxing division templates to make ahistorical/unrealistic divisions.

General Rules:

1.2 Be online in steam group chat group 10 minuttes before game start.

1.3 The games continues until one side (Axis and Allies + Comintern) have lost in the game or have surrendered. To surrender a majority of the players in one side must vote yes to surrender.

1.5 Game Speed:

This is a multiplayer game, absolutely NO PAUSING except before declarations of war. The game will be paused for 5 minutes maximum when a war is declared, after that, there will be zero pausing.

Speed 4 during peacetime
Speed 3 for Japanese-Chinese war
Speed 2 for war until Either USSR or USA joins

Speed 1 when Germany and USSR or USA and Japan is at war

If you lag too much to able to play at these speeds, you can be asked to leave the game (Generally expect that you have to leave, but GM makes a call on the situation)

1.6 Mod: No Mans Land (find it on steam)

War declarations and alliances

2.1: No wars until Danzig or War fired by Germany with the exception for historically accurate/scripted wars. Prior to taking Danzig or War, Germany must have taken MR Pact.

2.2: No danzig or war before april 1939.

2.3: Allies may not declare ahistorical wars

2.4: Countries are to join the war via being called to arms

2.5: Guarantees cannot be used on countries attacked by the axis or allied to the axis before July 41: (Denmark, Norway, Holland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Yugoslavia, Bulgaria, Greece, USSR and any nation in China)

2.6: No ahistorical alliances before Danzig or War fired by Germany"

2.7: Comintern can first declare ahistorical wars after June 41

2.8: USA may not join the allies until June '41 unless:

attacked

a country in American sphere is attacked by the axis.
Axis troops have landed in British islands
Smolensk or Stalingrad has fallen
Japan has declared war on the allies.
Japan has dowed/joined a war against USSR

2.9 Germany must take the focus around the Maginot line before attacking low countries (Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg) and dow all 3 countries at the same time.

2.10

Turkey is neutral until Germany is at war with both USSR and USA

Diplomacy

3.1: No Coups on a nation, that has been controlled by a human.

3.2: No Support Parties on a nation, that has been controlled by a human.

3.3: Countries must follow their historical ideology (democracy/fascist etc.)

3.4: Max of 5 divs per country for volunteers and only in Spanish civil war (GER/ITA/USSR)

3.5: After 80% tension max of 5 divs per country in total sent as volunteers. The volunteers can be used in any way (USA and Japans volunteers are not limited by rule 4.6)

3.6 Nat Spain cannot join the Axis, offer military access or dow any country before Germany is at war with USSR.

3.7 Not allowed to offer military access to other countries as a human controlled nation.

Other rules:

4.1: Until France has fallen only UK can send troops to mainland Europe

4.2: All historical decisions and actions involving historical action to be kept to the historical basis

4.3: Air wings to be kept at a minimum of 100 planes

4.4: No forts above level 5

4.5. Asia War Conditions

1) For USA (see expections for USA later in this rule) and Japan be allowed to send troops to Europe or Africa, Axis or Allies must control 70% or more of the following ports/islands.

This implies you must hold your own and four of the enemy’s.

2) USA can always send forces to defend British Isles. US naval and land units in the Isles can only defend them, but planes based there can perform any mission over Europe

3) If a faction gains control of enough ports, they need to notify the other team and wait 45 days for the limits to expire

4) If JAP loses enough ports, the limits are restored, but units already in Europe or Africa can stay.

5) If USA loses enough ports, the limits are restored, but it can still use troops already in mainland Europe or Africa offensively.

4.6: Great purge to be pre-'38

4.7: Japan to war with China July '37 on

4.8 Only Italian forces in north Africa prior to italy enters the war against UK.

What is an exploit?

If you are in doubt whether something is an exploit, it most likely is. To be a bit more precise: An exploit is either something that is against the design of the game or doing something that is against the spirit of the rules.

What is against the design of the game? A good example is to disband troops that is about to be surrounded to get the manpower back. The Paradox programmers did not think people should get mp back from destroyed units, so getting it back by disbanding the troops is therefore an exploit.

What is against spirit of the rules? If you do not intentionally take Smolensk or Stalingrad to avoid triggering Rule 2.8, it is an exploit. The rules are not to be read literally, and do not cover all loopholes (the rules would have to be very long otherwise). Apply commonsense to your reading of the rules and ask whether something is in spirit of the rule.

Here is a list of known exploits (by no means all exploits)

On ihan hyvä olla joku muutama nyrkkisääntö mutta muistuttaisin että historian simuloiminen ei ole yhtä hauskaa kuin sen tekeminen.

Samaa mieltä olen. "What if" -skenaariot houkuttaappi; Suursuomi, Espania saa Gibralttarinsa takaisin, Natsit saa elintilaa / muuttuukin demokratiaksi ja vain puolustaakin piskuista Suomea, jne...
Toki osa noista on saavutettavissa noiden sääntöjenkin kanssa, mutta on se pirun paljon vaikeampaa.

Tuosta paradoxin listasta vois kursia kasaan jonkun oman rautalankamallin.

Tässä olisi tälläset säännöt joita käytettiin kun pelasin yhdessä Paradoxilaisessa porukassa. Niitä ei ole liikaa ja ei myöskään pakota tekemään historiallisia päätöksiä. Lisää sääntöjä voidaan lisätä tarpeen tullen.
Decency
No disbanding encircled units.
Coups are banned in player nations
No involuntary boosting of party popularity
Agreements made privately either ingame or on Steam won't be enforced by the GM.
No joining a faction while in a civil war.
Fakes wars are banned - Please dont do - We will not be arbitrating EVERY SINGLE WAR TO DETERMINE IF IT WAS REAL OR FAKE. Just don't be douche.
Looking at the save between sessions make you a massive Thunder!*#£

Allegiances
Neutral nations count as having no ideology for the purposes of the rules.
Nations with 60+ Factories can only join a faction if they share ideologies with the faction leader

Wars
Nations with 60+ factories cannot declare war without a claim (Focus, event, preexisting) until 1st jan 1940
Nations with 60+ factories can't join Minor's wars until 1st Jan 1940 unless the Minor was declared war on by a major

Democracies
Democratic and Neutral countries cannot declare war on a fascist country as long as it has not declared war on a democracy or neutral nation

Germany
Germany cannot declare war on Netherlands, Belgium or Luxembourg before anschluss.
Germany cannot declare war on France or the United Kingdom before June 1938
Germany cannot declare war on the Soviet Union before April 1939

Japan
Japan cannot declare war on Netherlands before either finishing the war in China or Germany has Anchluss'd or it is at war with Britain
If it uses its focus wargoal to declare on the Netherlands it must declare on GB as well

USA
Can only join the allies if one of the following is true
Suez OR Bosphoros is controlled by the Axis and USA has completed warplan Black
Pearl Harbor Gambit is completed
It is January 1st 1942 and France has fallen

Cannot send lendlease until Limited Intervention Focus Completed
Cannot take the Venezuela focus until either Anti-Imperialism is completed, or Unholy Alliance, or at war with a Major
Cannot justify a wargoal until one of the following is true
Communist
Fascist
is at war with a Major

Added: Can only send volunteers to a maximum of two nations at any time.

Air Wings
Air Wings cannot have a design size under 100 on land and under 20 on carriers.

Volunteers
Volunteer forces CANNOT consist of divisions which contain armoured battalions.

Forts
Maximum level of 5 forts/coastal forts in a province. (Excluding focuses)

Soviet Union
Must offer the Fins the deal before the winter war
If the Fins offer the deal to the soviets - Soviets must take it.

On kyllä melkoiset sääntölistat. Luulisin että muutamalla nyrkkisäännöllä ja pelin henkeä kunnioittavalla herrasmiesasenteella pärjätään. Ei tämä kuitenkaan niin vakavaa ole.

Sellanen myös tuli mieleen että mitä modeja porukat haluaisi käyttää? Itse ainakin suosittelen tuota Finlandia Invicta vai mikä onkaan modia

Blackice mod tai National Focus Project. Monet modit vaikuttavat olevan vielä vanhentuneita ja päivityksen tarpeessa. Voitaisiin ehkä pelata eka peli ihan vanillana.
