Half-Swedish, Half-Finnish person interested in joining for a few games.

Post by HerraTeemuu »

Hello! So I've been looking to join or test out and play with this kind of community quite some time. Basically I am a Swedish Born person who has very close relatives to Finland, (mothers from Finland) I also have Finnish citzenship. Do you take in people who doesn't speak perfect Finnish, but okay Finnish to play with? I speak Finnish okay, but my typing skills are a bit worse, I understand better Finnish than I can speak.

Best regards,

I checked the ARMA Finland Wikipedia and found very useful information about the basics, what is needed and so forth. Such as mods, VoIP software, unit roles, different mindsets and guidelines. It is also very easy to read through it and get an understanding of how this works, which is a huge plus.

Also, I don't know if this information is important. Never the less. I have gotten a "C-mark/ C paperit". I got it in 2014, when I was 18. Just so you are aware of it. But I am very willing to learn more and show what I can.

Service in the FDF isn't required or related to your gameplay in AFI. We have people from many backrounds here!

Having not perfect finnish is just fine, we have Furean and we have tollerated his finnish for many many years. Next new players training is 15.8 1900 hours.

Come try playing with us on Friday or Monday. Those are unofficial days and someone will help you get basic radios working. After that you can play Saturday and go to Tuesday's training next week.
